Seven years ago, I was Alpha Damien's sharpest blade and most loyal second-in-command, conquering the powerful Blackwood Wolf Pack for him in the Northwest Territory.I fought and bled for him for seven years, yet all meant less than a single tear from his beloved Lila.“She is my true mate. You were never more than a backup.”On the eve of vengeance, he humiliated me in public, snatched the engagement ring from my husband, and let it slip into the sewer from Lila’s hand. When he raised his hand to strike me, my heart died completely.Four years later, I return to the summit as a representative of the Neutral Zone.Behind me stand my devoted husband and beloved son; in my hand, a trump card that can upend the entire territory. This time, I do not beg for his forgiveness.I come to take back what is mine, then leave forever. When the truth is exposed and Lila’s disguise crumbles, Damien begs me to return.I walk straight into another man’s arms before his eyes.“Damien… my revenge has only just begun.”
