Defense Minister’s daughter Audrey saved injured, deaf soldier Carter four years prior. Hiding her status and feigning muteness, she married him and secretly boosted his career to colonel via her father’s influence. At his promotion gala, Carter cheated with Selina, disowned Audrey and their daughter Lily for social status. Heartbroken, Audrey left. At her welcome banquet, she broke her mute act singing; her childhood sweetheart Ethan backed her. Selina’s vicious plots all failed as Audrey uncovered proof. Carter learned Audrey was his savior and the minister’s child, drowning in regret. Selina was arrested for crimes, then kidnapped Audrey but failed. Carter lost his military rank after abducting Lily to beg reconciliation, while Ethan proposed to Audrey.
