"For a decade, Ruby Nicholson, a brilliant gynecologist, had been shackled in a loveless marriage to her scumbag husband, Kyle Lane. Barren and unable to conceive, she endured relentless torment from his venomous mother, Jennifer Lane, who never missed a chance to belittle her. Kyle had been entangled in a steamy affair with a younger woman, Freya Riley, who was now pregnant with his child. It was in the hospital that Ruby stumbled upon the gut-wrenching truth. Confronted by the treachery, the taunts, and the suffocating oppression, Ruby launched a breathtaking counterattack. Armed with the law, the power of public opinion, and her razor-sharp professional skills, she was determined to expose Kyle and his family. With every step, she clawed back her stolen wealth and her shattered dignity. And then there was Maxwell Smith, an internet celebrity and paparazzo who'd been quietly adoring her from afar. With him, Ruby lived a life painted in hues of hope and love."
