Princess Lyra of Asterion was usurped by her stepmother, who framed her for patricide. Stripped of her crown, she was cast into the arena as a slave. Humiliated and auctioned off amid blood‑stained sand, she was forced to fight against wild beasts and men. Yet by chance, she awakened Nyxar, a black dragon bound in chains. From that night onward, she no longer merely fought to survive. She would return mounted upon a dragon, burn the throne to ashes, and fight her way back to the city‑state that rightfully belonged to her.
