I lost my life in a car accident because my elder brother was obsessed with his phone. After being reborn, I unexpectedly became the golden retriever Douta he raised. Turned into a dog overnight, filled with resentment, I only wanted to confront him, yet I accidentally heard his inner thoughts and saw his deeply hidden guilt and sorrow. Destroying things to get revenge failed to provoke his scolding, only earning his gentle tolerance instead. A near-death incident on the rooftop made me realize he was trapped in self-blame over my death and even wanted to end his life. In the form of a dog, I accompanied him out of despair and helped him meet his true love. As we stayed together, I discovered he had never treated me badly, but only protected me in a clumsy way. When the misunderstanding was resolved and he learned I was his reborn younger brother, the bond between us through life and death grew stronger. Moreover, a misdiagnosis mix-up at the hospital brought us a new ray of hope. He is the elder brother I once resented, and also my only obsession after rebirth. I am the younger brother he felt guilty about for half his life, and also the loyal dog who walked through darkness with him.
