Yara Wood is pushed by her family into marrying a supposedly poor man, while her younger sister, Carla, marries into wealth. In her new home, Yara finally experiences genuine kindness and love through her husband, Shawn Kirk, his mother, and the villagers. Despite that, Carla and her arrogant husband repeatedly humiliate Yara’s family—without realizing that Shawn is actually the richest man in Stanmore, and he has decided that enough is enough.
