After a cultivation accident leaves Elliot Judd in need of the energy of a woman with a Lunar Constitution to survive, he marries Xenia Klein. Believing him to be useless, she refuses to consummate the marriage for three years and repeatedly demands a divorce. On the 300th time she asks for one, Elliot finally agrees and goes on to marry her idol, Sadie Wood. Only then does Xenia realize—too late—that she has feelings for him. But once Elliot walks away, he never looks back.
