After a company dinner, Ji Shuhan mistakenly entered the room of the CEO, Huo Zexiao, who had been drugged, and they ended up sleeping together. Fearing retaliation, she quickly left but accidentally left behind her friend Song Xiaonian's resume, leading Huo Zexiao to mistakenly believe Song was the woman from that night. To reject a colleague's pursuit, Ji Shuhan lied about having a fiancé, which Huo Zexiao happened to overhear. Impressed by her abilities, Huo Zexiao selected her as his personal secretary, while privately contacting Song Xiaonian, who falsely claimed responsibility for the incident. As they worked together, Huo Zexiao and Ji Shuhan grew closer emotionally, until her morning sickness from pregnancy triggered a series of misunderstandings. Eventually, Huo Zexiao discovered the truth and decided to win her back.
