In an attempt to erase her betrayal, Chloe develops a "forgetfulness" drug and administers it to Samuel, hoping he will lose his memory of the incident. When Chloe returns with hope, she finds that Samuel has indeed lost his memory—but he also refuses to acknowledge their relationship.
