Luo Qing, abandoned by the Luo family and raised in the countryside, is unexpectedly summoned back. Her sister, Luo Li, refuses to marry the wheelchair-bound Heir Li Zhongze, so Luo Qing’s mentor tasks her with repaying a debt of gratitude by healing Li Zhongze’s legs—revealing he was once her saviour. Luo Qing proposes marriage, promising to cure him. Meanwhile, Luo Li, angered by Luo Qing’s defiance, reveals she is now with Li Zhongze's brother Li Minghan, securing her place in the Li family.
