Los Angeles heiress Eve lost everything when Kane accused her of causing his mother’s death. To save her own mother, who lay in a coma, Eve became Kane’s prisoner — his lover in name, his target in truth. She endured years of torment. Kane’s hatred slowly turned into something he refused to name. When Eve was kidnapped at their engagement party, he wounded himself to save her. Not long after, Eve jumped from a bridge and was presumed dead. A woman named Sierra added a cruel lie: a stillborn baby to keep Eve away. Six years passed. Eve returned — as a jewelry designer. The truth began to surface. Kane, drowning in regret, started his long journey to win her back. A mother and daughter, separated by lies, finally found each other again. But for the three of them to become a family, the hardest part was still ahead.
