Mermaid Lan Xin traded her tail for human form to marry Huo Sinian, her savior, only to suffer cruel abuse from him and his beloved Jiang Meixue. A mermaid shedding tears into pearls is a taboo—three pearls on the ground will turn her into seafoam. On the brink of death in despair, Lan Xin was saved by her mother’s sacrifice. She later returned as the CEO of the Lan Group, reclaimed custody of her daughter Zhu’er, and punished Jiang Meixue and other villains. In the end, she found happiness with her childhood sweetheart Hu Yiheng, while Huo Sinian atoned with his life on his deathbed.
