Gu Manman found Li Xiuqin according to her master's instructions and believed that he was the one she was looking for. When they first met, Gu Manman tried to approach Li Xiuqin, but was rejected by him. Gu Manman tried to persuade Li Xiuqin to accept her, which aroused discussions among the people around. When trying to approach Li Xiuqin, Gu Manman predicted that Li Xiuqin would be in danger, and soon the danger occurred. Gu Manman saved Li Xiuqin, and then Li Xiuqin's younger brother, Li Yangze, appeared and spoke rudely to Gu Manman. Gu Manman fought back, showed her ability, and predicted Li Yangze's misfortune. Li Xiuqin coughed up blood, and Gu Manman noticed his abnormal physical condition and decided to help him.
