Vanessa gave Caleb everything — twenty years, her whole heart, her whole self. Then Natalie appeared. She mocked Vanessa's clothes, her softness, her tears — and Caleb always took her side, telling Vanessa she was too sensitive, too childish, too much. Vanessa swallowed it all, because she loved him. On their wedding day, she found Natalie wearing her bridal gown. She fought back — for the first time in twenty years, she fought back. And Caleb walked in, looked at the woman he was supposed to marry, and slapped her across the face without asking a single question. Vanessa stood there, blood on her lip, and finally understood — she had never been his love. Only his convenience. She placed her ring on the floor and walked out into the pouring rain. After twenty years — was this finally the end?
