On the wedding day of Shen Zhiyuan and Jiang Huaijing, Yu Wanyue sent Shen Zhiyuan the bed photos of her and Jiang Huaijing. After seeing them, Shen Zhiyuan chose to run away from the wedding. Wearing her wedding dress, Shen Zhiyuan bumped into Fu Yuanzhou, who had been drugged. Fu Yuanzhou forcefully kissed Shen Zhiyuan, and because of what Jiang Huaijing had said, Shen Zhiyuan impulsively had a one-night stand with Fu Yuanzhou. Afterwards, she regretted running away. When Shen Zhiyuan returned home, her father blamed her for running away from the wedding and sent her abroad. Ten months later, Shen Zhiyuan gave birth overseas, but as soon as the child was born, Yu Wanyue sent someone to take the child away. Five years later, Shen Zhiyuan's father passed away, and she returned to China. She learned from a detective that her child, Xiaoman, was with Fu Yuanzhou, the president of the Fu Group. In order to get close to the child, Shen Zhiyuan applied to be Fu Yuanzhou's secretary. As Fu Yuanzhou got to know Shen Zhiyuan better, he was gradually attracted to her. By accident, Fu Yuanzhou learned that the Yu family had two daughters and began to suspect the person he had the one-night stand with. He had Xiaoman's and Shen Zhiyuan's DNA tested. After finding out that Shen Zhiyuan was the one he had the one-night stand with, he immediately proposed to Shen Zhiyuan. Considering the child, Shen Zhiyuan finally agreed.
