The original identity of the male protagonist, Lin Feng, was a prince of noble status. In modern times, he accidentally entered the ancient time and space. Here, he met a woman who was about to marry his cousin and was involved in framing him. Then, the prince was mistakenly identified as someone called "His Highness Persimmon", and both his identity and purpose were misunderstood. He also met a woman who claimed to be his fiancée, but this woman clearly had dissatisfaction with him. She even accused him of having an affair with her cousin and demanded to break off the engagement. Lin Feng voluntarily dissolved the engagement. Later, when they met again, Lin Feng was provoked and was looked down upon and ridiculed by others. The other party mocked that he was nothing but a clown. However, Lin Feng remained unmoved. He even found a horse that couldn't run, which triggered a new round of mockery and questioning. The other party laughed at Lin Feng's precious horse, saying it was so shabby that it couldn't even catch up with a pig. During the argument, Lin Feng was threatened that he would lose his manhood in the spring competition and was advised not to participate to avoid being bullied. But in the end, Lin Feng successfully won the competition with modern technology, making everyone realize that he was no longer an incompetent prince. After that, whether it was the issues related to Korea or the Japanese pirates, Lin Feng demonstrated his abilities and helped the country through one crisis after another, making the female emperor develop a favorable impression of him. However, soon intense discussions and conflicts broke out regarding core issues such as Lin Feng's rebellion and the threat posed by the Japanese navy. Some people advocated that for the sake of national interests, reconciliation with Japan should be considered. But others strongly opposed it, believing that Lin Feng must be executed and even suggesting that the female emperor be married off to a king. In the tense atmosphere, Lin Feng was accused of being a rebel, and Lao Chen suggested executing him immediately. However, as the Japanese navy approached, the situation became even more tense. In the end, it seemed that Lin Feng was well-prepared. He demanded to fire the cannons, indicating that he had the ability to confront the Japanese navy.
