Since childhood, Su Wanwan was a beauty destined to captivate, growing into a woman of unmatched beauty. Her father, Su Bingcheng, in his bid for the throne, offered her to the most powerful man of the Great Yu Dynasty, King Xuan, Fu Xiao. To avoid suspicion, Fu Xiao only agreed to take Su Wanwan into his household as an adopted daughter, giving her a unique status. At the age of ten, Su Wanwan had a near-fatal accident and almost drowned on a winter night, but she was saved by the young Fu Yunzhi. From that moment, Su Wanwan secretly swore to repay the life-saving favor with her body, and she vowed to unconditionally care for Fu Yunzhi. They grew up as childhood friends, their bond deepening with time, and both secretly developed feelings for each other, pledging to marry only each other. To ensure Fu Yunzhi could grow up safely in the perilous palace, Su Wanwan sought Fu Xiao's help to make him the crown prince. However, Su Wanwan was framed and poisoned, leading to an intimate encounter with King Xuan Fu Xiao. When this relationship was exposed, Fu Xiao, who had long admired Su Wanwan, could no longer hide his feelings. Seizing the opportunity, he opened his heart, but Su Wanwan revealed that her heart had long been given to someone else—Fu Yunzhi. Fu Xiao, maddened and desperate, became obsessively determined to keep Su Wanwan by his side. Meanwhile, Fu Yunzhi's life was consumed by hatred, and he planned to use Su Wanwan to take down Fu Xiao and regain power, manipulating her into a compromising situation. When all the truth was finally revealed, it became clear that everyone had already been caught up in a web of conspiracy. Su Wanwan was a pawn in the power struggle, but she still chose to die for the man she loved. In the end, no one achieved their desires in this entangled web of schemes, love, and hate. Su Wanwan discovered the painful truth that Fu Yunzhi had used her, and her ten years of love were all in vain. Fu Yunzhi lost his life, while Fu Xiao lost his beloved. In love and in war, there are no winners.
