Three years ago, Emily suffered a family tragedy; she was rescued from danger by Enzo, the head of the Lombardi family, but—left severely injured and amnesiac—she mistakenly believed Nathaniel of the Hayes Group to be her savior. Years later, just as she and Nathaniel were preparing to get engaged, a business collaboration brought her back into contact with Enzo, sparking a recurring sense of familiarity. She gradually uncovered a conspiracy in which Nathaniel and her adopted sister, Ivy, were plotting to seize the family assets; with Enzo’s support, she gathered the necessary evidence to expose Ivy’s past misdeeds. As her memories fully returned, Emily realized where her heart truly lay and found happiness with Enzo—the man who had steadfastly watched over her—ultimately safeguarding the family legacy and embracing a fulfilling, mutual love.
