In the seventh year of Qi Yuan, a locust plague ravaged the Qi Kingdom, causing crops to fail and leading to widespread famine. Seventy percent of the population starved to death, and even cases of cannibalism occurred. Three days before the plague, Jiang Li dreamt of herself and her daughter dying a tragic death.
