Ella, scout captain of the Obsidian Wolf Clan, endured leader Koss’s cruelty for seven years, believing he rescued her. Koss saw her only as a tool and secretly planned her marriage to pure-blood heiress Chloe. After overhearing his scorn at a banquet, Ella broke the wolf bone collar and left him. Enraged Koss and jealous Chloe framed her, hiding wolfsbane in her boots to cripple her. Kyle, Koss’s nephew and vanguard commander, intervened. He was Ella’s real savior whose merit was stolen by Koss, and he had loved her silently for years. They entered a contract marriage. Kyle protected Ella, funded her mother’s treatment and transferred clan power to her. Guided by Kyle, Ella rose fast. She proved her strength, exposed Chloe’s schemes, reclaimed western Obsidian territory and awakened her royal eclipse totem. Kyle defeated the pure-blood faction, imprisoning Koss and exiling Chloe. Koss escaped, kidnapped Ella and tried to force a mark on her. Crushed by her awakened royal power, he died painfully from the wolfsbane toxin accumulated inside Ella. Ella and Kyle embraced amid the ruins, marching toward dawn together.
