Ivy's mother urgently needs surgery, and with her gambling father's creditors besieging her door, she is forced to sign a contract to become the secret lover of Sebastian, a Wall Street tycoon. He is the adopted son of the Winslow family and wants an obedient lover; she wants money. Lydia, the fake heiress, recognizes Ivy's birthmark in an old family photo and suspects she is the real heiress, so she secretly plots. To solidify Ivy's fraud charges, she accuses Ivy of "faking a pregnancy for extortion." Sebastian hates deception and publicly humiliates Ivy, kicking her out of the apartment. Ivy is left homeless, and her gambling father wants to sell her to another man immediately. Sebastian quickly regrets his actions and frantically searches New York, finding her unconscious in a hotel. He forcibly takes her back and guards her day and night, but Ivy remains cold and indifferent. After breaking off her relationship with him, she works as a cleaner to pay off her debts, where she accidentally meets Eleanor, the head of the Winslow family, and her true identity is slowly revealed. In the end, the fake heiress was kicked out of the house, the real heiress returned, and the two finally got married.
