Micro-sculpture jeweler Jenna crafted a one-of-a-kind engagement ring for her fiancé Ethan, only to see him put it on a random model. He knocked her down, scalded her face with hot coffee, and severed her wrist tendon. Jenna broke off the engagement. During recovery, she met e-commerce CEO James; they joined forces against Ethan's retaliation and grew close. Ethan's obsession exploded—he trashed her studio, Jenna crippled his right hand with a carving knife; then he self-mutilated his face with a welding torch to "beg for peace," leaving himself disfigured. Stripped of his inheritance, the broken Ethan groveled for forgiveness. Jenna tore off her bandages, revealing her flawless face, said "You don't deserve it," and walked away with James into the light—leaving Ethan in eternal darkness and ruin.
