Shiloh, who grew up in the slums of Los Angeles, once worked odd jobs in the airport kitchen. She was pulled out of the mire at a glance by Sebastian, a genius pilot born into an airline conglomerate, who, despite pressure from the board and the family trust, married her. Five years later, Sebastian becomes attracted to Aubrielle, a rookie co-pilot placed in his crew by the company, seeing her as a replacement for Shiloh's old self. For her, he tramples on Shiloh’s dignity and even completely pushes her out of his flying life. The woman he once tamed eventually leaves his world in despair. But unexpectedly, not long after she left, Sebastian finds her and, with red eyes, begs her to come back. Key Highlights: She rose from the airport kitchen to the clouds thanks to him, only to be thrown back into the slums by his corporate power; when the rookie co-pilot becomes the ghost of an old obsession, he lets the crew humiliate her and cuts off all her escape routes. Only when she disappears completely does he go insane, chasing flights around the city with red eyes, begging her to return. But this time, she just wants to watch him crash. Core Synopsis: As a teenager, Shiloh worked in the kitchen of Los Angeles airport, living in a neighborhood with terrible security and annual rent hikes, not even daring to visit the ER for a cold. Sebastian, seemingly crazy, pulled her out from the smoke and bills. To marry her, he defied the airline conglomerate and endured the board's attacks. She thought she had truly been loved—five years of marriage, accompanying him from the youngest ace pilot to the company’s face, tolerating even his worst temper and deepest obsession. The turning point came fast. The group forced a new co-pilot on the crew, a girl with a face resembling Shiloh's younger self, younger and more obedient. Initially, Sebastian just stared, but soon he spiraled out of control. He kept that girl close while systematically removing Shiloh from his life. The crew followed suit with ridicule. He forced Shiloh to apologize to Aubrielle; when she refused, he targeted her mother’s treatment. Shiloh watched as her years of dignity were stripped away, and ultimately, even her mother’s life-sustaining, expensive equipment was shut down, with her mother dying before Shiloh could reach her. With her mother gone, Shiloh finally woke up. She handled the aftermath, canceled her old identity, sold her wedding ring, and vanished completely from Los Angeles. Only after she left did Sebastian realize the insane rookie was just a tool set by the family to control him; the person he actually destroyed was the only one truly by his side for ten years. He started taking revenge on the board, drove away the replacement, and frantically chased flights, checked entries, blocked airports—just to find Shiloh. But Shiloh was no longer the girl who could be taken away by his words. She had moved cities, changed her name, and rebuilt her life, with new support around her. By the time Sebastian tracked her down, willing to give up everything—airline, inheritance, reputation—just to have her back, Shiloh couldn’t even spare him hatred this time.
