This time, she’s determined to change the past and save her mother from that tragic life. She meets William Jacobs, a man running from his family’s plans for him, hiding who he really is. As they grow closer, they fall in love—but Evelyn knows her time in the past is limited. When her mother’s due date nears, she realizes she must return to the future and leaves William behind with a broken heart. Nineteen years later, Evelyn opens her eyes in the present.
