Charlotte, the only daughter of a Mafia godfather, lived in seclusion under an assumed name for ten years. She supported her boyfriend Tyler, helping him rise from a street thug to the underground king of the West Coast. She had planned to reveal her true identity the day Tyler was to meet her father. Instead, she caught him cheating with Evelyn, who claimed to be the Pope’s niece and publicly humiliated and belittled Charlotte. Charlotte did not cry or make a scene. She calmly dialed her father’s number. When the godfather arrived in person and the truth came to light, Tyler finally realized — the woman he had discarded was none other than the real daughter of the godfather. With a decisive reckoning, Charlotte made it clear to him: Once unfaithful, never trusted again.
