Police officer Ava Monroe believes that kingpin Damian Vale murdered her brother. She infiltrates his gang, biding her time to exact revenge. Damian has seen through her from the very start, yet he keeps her close and guides her toward the truth. It is not until she shoots him with her own hand in a trap that the real killer, Rafael Kane, reveals his smirk. Though gravely wounded, Damian takes a fatal bullet for her. From that night onward, Ava is no longer merely a vengeance‑driven undercover agent. She must fight alongside the man she injured to reclaim the underground throne.
