Unbeknownst to her, the ""pitiable"" husband is actually the renowned CEO of the powerful Longchuan Group. While secretly paving the way for his wife's success, Li Siye constantly risks exposing his true identity with every helping hand he offers. He also goes to great lengths to maintain his pretense of being disabled in their daily life. Just as their relationship deepens, Li Siye is forced to reveal his identity to take over his father's company, and the truth about a fire from ten years ago also surfaces. A misunderstanding arising from these revelations drives them apart. After overcoming numerous trials, Li Siye finally discovers that Su Wan was the one who saved him from the fire all those years ago. With the villains brought to justice, the couple reconciles and lives happily ever after."
