Jiang Wanling was actually Fu Sinian’s true lifesaver, yet he mistakenly believed Su Nian to be his savior, reducing her to a mere stand-in. In her previous life, after she became pregnant, Fu Sinian forced her to have an abortion, leading to her tragic death. Upon her rebirth, on the day of their wedding, she saw through Fu Sinian’s favoritism toward Su Nian, so she voluntarily terminated the pregnancy, filed for divorce, and prepared to leave the country. Fu Sinian mistakenly believed she had harmed Su Nian and once again treated her brutally. Upon returning home, he saw the divorce agreement, the embryo, and the good-luck charm they had exchanged as a token of their love, which aroused his suspicions. Jiang Wanning traveled to the United States to study medicine, where she met Fu Sinian’s business rival, Lu Jingchen. The two supported each other and gradually fell in love. Three years later, Fu Sinian uncovered the truth that Su Nian had been impersonating someone else to deceive him for fifteen years. Consumed by remorse and driven mad, he knelt in public at a medical summit to beg for forgiveness, but Jiang Wanneng ignored him. Su Nian attacked someone with a knife right there; Fu Sinian shielded her from the blow, yet he still failed to win back Jiang Wanneng’s heart and was left with nothing but a medical bill for a million. Lu Jingchen brought down the Fu Group and proposed to Jiang Wanneng. Fu Sinian, now bankrupt and homeless, watched the live stream of their wedding from under a bridge and died in bitterness. Jiang Wanneng put her pain behind her and spent the rest of her life with Lu Jingchen, who truly loved her.
