Sharon was the true heiress of Baker Aviation Group, stolen as a child by her foster parents. Years later, they forced her to take the place of their daughter Catherine and marry Richard, a comatose pilot. Sharon nursed Richard back to health, but he grew cold when she failed to conceive. When she finally became pregnant, she discovered Richard with Catherine. Catherine pushed Sharon down the stairs, then claimed Sharon attacked her. Richard threw Sharon out into the rain. She lost the baby. Dying on the street, Sharon was found by her birth father, Robert. She survived. She reclaimed her identity. And at her homecoming gala, she burned them all: her foster parents for kidnapping, Catherine for her lies, and Richard for his betrayal. By the end of the night, the kidnappers were in handcuffs, the lovers were dragged out by security, and Sharon walked away without looking back.
