Su Hai, in collaboration with his lover Ye Lan, set up a trap and pushed their young daughter Su Yue off a cliff. Su Yue survived by luck. Misguided by Su Hai, she thought it was her mother Shen Ruoyun who wanted to kill her. As a result, Su Yue turned from love to hate towards her mother. Twenty years later, Su Yue became the president and made a brilliant return. Due to the misunderstanding of that year, she was extremely filial to the real culprit Su Hai and abused and hurt Shen Ruoyun, who truly loved her. She was even unwilling to help treat Shen Ruoyun when she was seriously ill. It was not until the end that she learned the truth, but by then, her mother's life had come to an end.
