"Eighteen years ago, business magnate Florence Vance lost her son, Joel, in a brutal act of revenge by her rivals. Devastated, she found an abandoned baby by the river and named him Ethan. To protect her new son from her enemies, Florence vanished, adopting the identity of a humble fish-seller in a local market. For 18 years, she lived in poverty, enduring hardship to raise Ethan. All the while, she secretly paved the way for him to inherit her multi-billion dollar conglomerate, the Vance Corporation. The time comes when Ethan achieves peak success, getting a perfect score in the National Exam. Florence, filled with pride, attends his Laureate's Banquet, carrying the asset transfer agreements. But at the height of his glory, Ethan, ashamed of his ""poor"" mother, publicly humilies her. Heartbreak turns to cold fury. Florence decides she's had enough. In front of everyone, she casts aside her disguise and strikes back, ready to reclaim the empire she built."
