After a drunken night, human cook Chloe strayed into Dragon Embers Temple and spent a night with Dragon Lord Orkan, who marked her as his fated mate. Unaware of the bond, she fled in panic at dawn. 5 years later, Chloe raises 5 half-dragon cubs in hardship. She takes a well-paid job as a temple chef to repair their fire-damaged home. She does not recognize Orkan, though he sees his mark on her and plans to win her back. The cubs accidentally reveal their identity and call Orkan “Daddy”, reuniting the long-separated family. Yet lurking dragon clan threats loom, poised to destroy their hard-won happiness.
