8 years ago, Hailey signed a contract to repay Mrs. Parker's favor. She stood by Colin Parker through his lowest moments and helped him heal from the heartbreak of his first love leaving. She was willing to do anything for him. But all she got in return was his indifference and a half-hearted promise to "try to love her." Then, one text from his first love saying she was back made those 5 years feel meaningless. When the contract was up, Hailey left the divorce agreement behind and walked away without hesitation. After all, a man who would never love her was not worth keeping.
