After giving birth to a child with a mysterious mermaid tail, Lady Lyra fears both she and her newborn son will be executed by the ruthless royal court. Desperate to protect her child, she fakes her death and escapes to a remote coastal town. Years later, her secret is exposed, drawing the attention of King Cael—the father of the child. But instead of condemning them, Cael reveals a shocking truth: he is not entirely human either. As hidden kingdoms, ancient bloodlines, political conspiracies, and forbidden love collide, Lyra must choose between running from destiny or embracing a future she never imagined.
