Layla, a student at the University of Southern California, enters a rushed contractual marriage with Galen, a mysterious church volunteer, to win custody of her younger sister Lily. Unbeknownst to her, Galen is the heir of the Silver Wolf Clan and a cursed wolf king. She navigates life-or-death battles at guardianship hearings, grueling trials set by the wealthy Vance family, and deadly hunts orchestrated by the werewolf elder council. As an ordinary human, Layla uncovers the scheming of powerful oligarchs. In the end, she embraces the half-wolf Galen, becoming his only blood antidote and fated soulmate.
