"After being kicked out by her son and daughter-in-law, Lydia White—who has supported herself by selling vegetables for half her life—finds herself with nowhere to go. In her desperation, she reunites with Henry Clark, a middle school classmate, and the two gradually grow close. Together, they open a breakfast diner, though Henry hides his true identity. When the truth comes out, their relationship faces a crisis of trust, but through understanding and acceptance, they reconcile and learn to face life's challenges side by side."
