"To focus on her graduate school preparations, university junior Joanna Rhodes moves into a quiet old apartment complex. However, her peace is soon shattered when she begins to suspect that someone has been secretly entering her home. Unaware of the intruder's motives, she finds her life spiraling into a series of bizarre and terrifying events. She becomes the target of a deranged and possessive obsession from Leo Hanson. At the same time, she must escape an attempted kidnapping and trafficking by the enigmatic Old Man Pete, and survive a vengeful plot orchestrated by her senior schoolmate, Simon Holt. Trapped in a living nightmare, Joanna's only hope lies in the timely intervention of her landlord, Vanessa Ford, and a desperate rescue by her best friend, Lillian Jones, which comes at the ultimate cost. Thanks to their help, Joanna is finally able to escape the darkness and return to a life of peace."
