Nine months pregnant, Layto eagerly awaited a new life with Zuse, only to be brutally betrayed as she went into labor. To ensure Haira’s son became the sole heir, Zuse drugged Layto to force a delay in her delivery, discarding her in a cold, dark basement to bleed out alone. Heartbroken, Layto faked her death and escaped, watching from the shadows as Zuse and his family celebrated while she was presumed dead with her unborn child. Every past memory of warmth has turned into a blade. Now, she returns with burning vengeance, systematically dismantling everything Zuse owns. As his family collapses and his allies turn their backs, Zuse kneels at her grave in tearful regret. But Layto only watches with cold eyes: Everything he owes her will be paid back to the entire realm!
