Emily, a designer, enjoyed what seemed like a perfect ten-year marriage — until she uncovered her husband James’ infidelity, along with the harsh truth that all her luxury goods were cheap counterfeits. Worse still, James had secretly drained their millions of marital assets, including their son’s education fund, all to curry favor with the wealthy for a promotion. Heartbroken, Emily devised an elaborate scheme. She funded a full makeover for desperate single mother Mary, who posed as a wealthy mining heiress to lure the greedy, vain James. Teaming up with Bella, another woman James had deceived and hurt, Emily laid trap after trap to expose his hypocrisy and schemes. James was eventually convicted and imprisoned for his crimes, reaping what he sowed. Free from her toxic marriage, Emily built her own fashion brand and stepped fully into her independent, brilliant new life.
