"As the adopted daughter of the Goodwin family, Esther Goodwin grew up surrounded by love. But her perfect life shattered the day her family's biological daughter, Lucy Goodwin, returned home. Almost immediately, her new ""sister"" begins a cruel campaign to destroy her. Lucy frames her for a violent fall down the stairs, fakes a life-threatening illness to force her into donating bone marrow, and even has the house staff torment her in secret. The worst part? Everyone believes the lies. Her parents take Lucy's side without question, and even the man she once cared for now views her with suspicion. Trapped in a web of deceit and isolated by her own family, Esther is on the verge of losing everything when Ryan Shaw appears. He sees the truth behind the lies and promises to help her fight back. But with everyone she loves turned against her, can she really escape this nightmare?"
