After years of humiliation in the Hawthorne family, Maya Bennett finally believes her life is about to change when she discovers she is pregnant. But the same day, she catches her husband, Ethan, with her best friend, Ava. A brutal confrontation costs Maya her unborn child, and soon Ethan and Ava lure her to the coast and leave her for dead. Miraculously rescued by the powerful Westmore family, Maya returns transformed—as their elegant, untouchable heiress. Now she has one goal: make the people who stole her marriage, her child, and her life destroy each other. As Ethan becomes obsessed with winning her back and Ava watches her stolen world collapse, Maya sets the final trap at the altar, where the truth of that stormy night will be exposed to everyone. But revenge is not the ending she wants. When the past begs for another chance, Maya chooses Owen—the man who protected her without ever trying to control her—and walks into the new life she fought to reclaim.
