On a night of torrential rain, Elena Vance happened to rescue Victor Sterling, the gravely wounded leader of the Blackwater Syndicate, and from that moment on, their fates were inextricably linked. But her good fortune was short-lived; she was betrayed by her father and then by her boyfriend. With her back against the wall, Victor Sterling reached out to help her, personally molding her into a bold and ruthless Syndicate matriarch. On the very day of their wedding, she watched helplessly as Victor Sterling fell in a hail of gunfire. Having lost her pillar of support, she suppressed her grief and ventured alone among her enemies. Burdened by a blood feud and facing a path fraught with danger, how will Elena Vance tear apart the conspiracy and reclaim everything that belongs to her? Translated with DeepL.com (free version)
