24-year-old college student Isabelle, trying to escape the control of her brother Gavin, accidentally saves Myron, the grandfather of Nathan, the leader of the mafia, only to lose her sight in the process. To repay her kindness, Myron arranges a sudden marriage between Isabelle and Nathan. Suspecting that Isabelle is colluding with her brother, Nathan conceals his true identity and pretends to be poor to test her. As they spend time together, genuine feelings gradually develop between them. Nathan discovers Isabelle's innocence and kindness, while Isabelle unwittingly falls in love with her "ordinary" husband. When Isabelle is once again sold to a rival by her brother, Nathan reveals his true identity to rescue her. Going through the twists and turns of kidnapping, betrayal, and sight-restoring surgery, the two overcome barriers of status and lies, eventually welcoming the fruit of their true love and holding a perfect wedding.
