Five years ago, Olivia was forced to marry Arthur, the eldest son of the Sterling family, in order to save the life of her true love Damon, and gave birth to a daughter, Andy, who suffered from a congenital illness. Five years later, Arthur dies unexpectedly, and Damon—who had returned from Wall Street as a self‑made tycoon and heir apparent—takes over the conglomerate. Believing Olivia had "betrayed" him back then, he imprisons her by his side and subjects her to endless humiliation. To secure the exorbitant medical expenses for her daughter, Olivia swallows her pride and begs to stay within the family. Just as a breakthrough drug finally becomes available for Andy, Damon's nominal fiancée, Chloe, secretly bribes pharmaceutical staff to swap out the medication, causing Andy to die on the operating table—and frames Damon for the crime. The grief of losing her daughter turns Olivia utterly ruthless; she vows to make the Sterling family pay in blood. She feigns marriage to Julian, heir of the Sterling's arch‑rival Adams family, and uses his connections to systematically expose the Sterlings' money‑laundering operations, bringing down the entire conglomerate and landing Damon in prison. Yet Damon, who still loves Olivia deeply, is consumed by regret when he learns that Andy was his biological child; he willingly abandons his billion‑dollar empire and chooses to atone as a fallen man. Chloe's schemes are eventually exposed, and in her final desperation she attempts to assassinate Olivia, who is pregnant again—only for Damon to step in and save her. Once all truths are laid bare, can the five lost years and the blood‑soaked grudges between them truly be healed? Where will Damon's redemption and Olivia's hatred ultimately lead…
