Heracles was born without divine power. Deemed a disgrace to the gods by his father, he was abandoned overnight at the foot of Mount Olympus—only to be found and adopted by Odin, who was searching for a successor. Twenty years later, raised and recognized as Odin's chosen heir, Heracles returns to his homeland bearing the only token of his birth, seeking his origin.
