Scarlett transmigrates into a book to find herself in the body of the villainous supporting character who bumps into the amnesiac Caleb and impersonates his girlfriend, facing a crisis in their marriage right from the start. Fearing Caleb's revenge and imprisonment if he regains his memory, she has to work odd jobs to earn money for her escape while continuing to maintain the lie. During their time together, Caleb gradually reveals his extraordinary abilities from his humble beginnings as a lowly worker, and the two develop genuine feelings for each other amidst their impoverished daily lives. However, wealthy figures such as his fiancée, brother, assistant, and doctor gradually appear, pushing Caleb's true identity closer to being exposed. What Scarlett finds most unbearable is that even though she knows she stole Caleb's life, she becomes increasingly reluctant to leave.
