After spending ten years defending the empire’s frontier as its greatest Dragon Master, she returns home in triumph—only to be betrayed at the grand victory celebration. Before the eyes of the entire kingdom, her husband, the King, conspires with the Queen Mother and a powerful Countess to strip her of her royal title, seize her command over the Imperial Dragon Legion, confiscate everything she owns, and exile her from the empire. All of it is done to make room for the King's new favorite—a noble with no military achievements whatsoever. She does not beg or fight. Instead, she calmly surrenders the Imperial Dragon Seal while secretly reclaiming the ancient dragon-binding technique that only she possesses. Without her unique power, the once-loyal guardian dragons descend into uncontrollable fury, refusing to obey their new commander. As the dragons revolt, the empire’s border defenses collapse. Enemy armies invade from every direction, pushing the kingdom to the brink of destruction. Desperate to hide their incompetence, the King and the Countess accuse her of treason and claim that she cursed the dragons. They even hire dark sorcerers to forcibly enslave the divine beasts. Their reckless actions only enrage the dragons further. The colossal creatures rampage above the imperial capital, tearing the royal palace apart and plunging the empire into chaos. When all hope seems lost, she descends from the sky at the head of thousands of dragons. Before the soldiers and citizens of the empire, she exposes the King and the Countess’s affair and reveals the conspiracy that destroyed the realm. With a single command, the dragons unleash their fury, crushing the treacherous lovers and leaving them broken. The once-proud King falls to her knees amid the ruins, begging for mercy and pleading with her to save the empire. She looks down upon her without a word, while behind her, thousands of dragons spread their wings and open their jaws. Their devastating breath is aimed at the entire imperial capital—and the fate of the kingdom rests on a single decision.
