Sarah Scott lives with her loving adoptive parents and brother. When they tragically die in a car accident, the Wish System tells Sarah that they can be resurrected—but on one condition: she must return to her birth family, the Regans, and obey whatever they say for five years. Determined to be reunited with her adoptive family, Sarah endures suffering and abuse at the hands of the Regans, who believe she is only after their money.
