Xander later falls for her and desperately searches for another cure. However, before he can save her, she discovers the truth. Heartbroken, she tries to escape, only for fate to seal her tragic end. Miraculously revived by her grandmother's pill, she wakes up blind. Seven years later, she returns with her daughter, unknowingly crossing paths with Xander.
