Cheng Xiao gave Xu Zhaosu half of his family heirloom jade pendant, promising to stay by her side forever. A fire broke out in the orphanage, and Xu Zhaosu saved both Cheng Xiao and Xu Qingyu from the flames. However, Xu Qingyu's malicious thoughts caused the rescuers to miss the best moment to save Xu Zhaosu. In a desperate moment, Xu Zhaosu donated her corneas to Cheng Xiao.
